Breaking Down the CRAZIEST Growth Trend on Instagram

"Saving 1 Person's Life for Every Million Followers I Get"

“Saving 1 Person’s Life for Every Million Followers I Get”

Yo Reader!

If you haven’t seen, there’s a big trend blowing up small accounts right now on Instagram.

And I hate it.

But I also love it so much.

Basically someone promises to do “X” for every follower they have.

The first time I saw it was a month ago from this guy:

  • He posted 4 videos in a row that didn’t get any traction
  • Started from 0
  • The fourth video POPPED off.

The comments quickly figured out how to make sure he gave up playing League of Legends. He initially did it as a meme but now a lot of other accounts have started using this to blow up their accounts and gain a mass following FAST.

However, it’s also devolved into a charity guilt trip:

I literally saw a kid say “Day 1 of feeding 1 homeless person for every 1000 followers” and he only had 81 followers… so he ended the video with “I guess no ones getting fed today!”

BRUH WHAT!?

Ways to Replicate This:

Pick something polarizing

If you want this to work, there needs to be some people who hate what you are trying to do (or not do) and people who LOVE it… cannot be in the middle.

The League of Legends example above worked perfectly. Every single League of Legends player has a Love/Hate relationship with the game… so it was satisfying to try and save a man from something they knew would suck the life out of him.

Be Consistent for at least 7 days

You also need to be consistent. I tried this myself and it failed due to losing steam after day 5 (what can I say, it’s tough out there).

Have you seen any of these work for you? I’m interested to see what success you have with this framework. Lmk what you come up with.
